Meet the LifeLight Team
Christine Schneider has been a pioneer for manual laryngeal therapy in the US for over a decade. Her private practice in NYC, LifeLight Massage Therapy PLLC, specializes in laryngeal and TMJ treatments for professional voice users. Working alongside New York’s top Laryngologists, Speech Pathologists and Voice teachers, she provides the manual component for vocal rehabilitation and vocal health maintenance. In addition to her practice, she created The Visceral Voice, a program and podcast which brings her passion and knowledge for vocal health, anatomy, self-massage, and movement to the wide variety of vocal athletes throughout the world.
With Taylor Techniques, Christine has extensive training in Myofascial Assessment and Release and is an approved provider and educator.
Her other specializations include, Visceral Components of the Neck and Thorax, Visceral Manipulation, and Neuromeningeal Manipulation from the Barral Institute, Treatment of Whiplash and Related Disorders, and CranioSacral Therapy. She is also a certified Movement Specialist with training from The Brookbush Institute, Gray Institute, Immaculate Dissection, and the Institute for Integrative Health and Fitness Education.
Graduating from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor’s in Music in both Vocal Performance and French Horn Performance, Christine’s first expression of love for the voice was as a professional performer all around the world. She is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, AEA, AGVA, and is a Voting Member for PAVA (Pan American Vocology Association). She is also the head of Research and on the Advisory Board for The Academy of Noise.

Heather Roberts, LMT, a graduate of the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in Massage Therapy with both an eastern and western focus, also graduated from the Wheaton Conservatory of Music with her degree in Music Education with Voice and Piano Performance. She has been a certified music educator for voice and piano in Illinois, Hawaii, Oregon, Maryland, Washington DC, and New York. Heather also has performed from Ireland to Slovenia and coast to coast professionally singing opera, oratorio, musical theater, and premieres of new works. The blending of massage therapy with the performance world is very close to Heather’s heart.
Heather Roberts has been working with artists of all ages since 1994 and uses her artistic creativity during treatment sessions to better meet the needs of her clients. Her work primarily focuses on body mechanics and functionality in order to achieve optimum health and freedom from tension. She integrates Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports massage with Reflexology and Myofascial Release techniques. Heather also includes guided breath relaxation techniques during sessions.
As a breast cancer survivor, Heather Roberts also has a passion for medical massage and has worked in integrative medical offices to help decrease pain, improve functionality, increase mobility, and empower and educate patients about their own well being.

Licensed Massage Therapist
A graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in lower Manhattan, Lauren Sadkin brings a creative and diverse skill set to the ever-developing field of massage therapy. Her style of treatment is integrative, combining Deep Tissue, Thai, Acupressure, Tui na, Reflexology, Myofascial release, Sports and Swedish techniques, utilizing essential oils and stretching when indicated. Lauren is certified in Prenatal massage, through the NCBTMB. She seeks to serve clients by influencing a decrease in pain, and an increase in whole body wellness. Outside of practice, Lauren holds a BA in Theatre and Music from the University of Alabama, and has worked as an AEA actor/singer for over ten years. Lauren was drawn to massage therapy after experiencing Christine's healing and transformative work, during a medical leave while performing on tour. She is pumped and honored to be working with LifeLight in this profound work for professional voice users.
